The educational seminar in Fontainemore (AO) completed

An in-depth two day seminar was held on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March, on the highlands of Monte Prât, which had been requested by the Town Council Administration headed by the mayor Girod.
Over the course of the 12 hours, the delegation which constituted more than 30 people participated in the seminar which included visiting offices and being given the opportunity to try out the organization of the Albergo diffuso in Forgaria, Monte Prat, one of the very first Albergo diffuso enterprises in the Region of FVG and in Italy.
The seminar which was held in the Didactic Centre – the holiday house - San Lorenzo, basically covered two issues: the case of the Albergo diffuso in Forgaria Monte Prat (Agnola) and the Albergo diffuso in Italy (Droli). The latter aspect was developed in a series of points; the basic reasons accounting for the success of the Albergo diffuso, the nature of the market, the differences between hotel guests and the people interested in the A.d., the essential characteristics of the model, the varying features to be developed, the common pitfalls to be avoided when creating the structure and other issues.
Over the dinner which followed, several other aspects of the Albergo diffuso (not strictly academic) were discussed with the help of musical entertainment, while Sunday was reserved for viewing the houses that were destined to become Albergo diffuso enterprises.

In treating this theme you helped us to get to know a sector which was almost completely new, in actual fact you really surprised us!! The presentation was not theoretical, but rich in ideas and stimulating reflections as well as being practical and friendly. Many of us were able to discover an alternative market which was previously quite unknown to us and the possibility of developing our mountainous areas. Now it is up to us to explain and share what an Albergo diffuso really is.. But how will we be able to transmit the great enthusiasm which was conveyed this afternoon ?
