The Italian Tourism Observatory (ONT) dedicates a section to Public Private Partnering

ONT publishes researches, statistics and field analysis. It studies, analyzes and controls social-economical trends of tourism, also in order to measure system's competitiveness.

Public Private Partnering is one of the topics of research, while the report published on "La Rivista del Turismo", by Federalberghi, is among the ones useful to System Italy's competitiveness, promoted towards tourism operators since the beginning of ONT's activity.

This award, just 2 years after the publishing of the book which introduces the science of tourism co-operation, is a good result; it's also a starting point to spread information about a working system, through which an AD, but also consortiums, local tourism systems, product clubs and other groups of companies, could improve their results, shorten the time used to reach them and spare money, without any magic...

The prize at stake is high. The union of subjects not always creates the needed skill to beat the economical crisis and to reach opportunities offered by the global market. Short break, low cost, "all online" are current trends, and who will follow them in a productive way, and before competitors, will be awarded. A virtuous partnership for a successful AD is nearer.
