The Albergo Diffuso Sextantio at Santo Stefano di Sessanio is facing some issues. The Management has just laid off employees and is preparing to become a seasonal hotel. Among the reasons behind this decision there are natural disasters certainly, but also "the lack of a specific training," following Daniele Kihlgren, who is its legendary owner.
This episode confirms that enthusiasm is not enough to manage a scattered hotel, unfortunately. Furthermore, too much enthusiasm, while it helps to cope with many issues, on the other hand, creates additional obstacles to be overcome for entrepreneurs, as demonstrated by cases followed by the SISAD and following scientific studies. As the SISAD suggests since 2004, training for the Albergo Diffuso must be specialized, continuous, targeted and most importantly able to produce measurable results. We regret not having been able to give our little support to Daniel Kihlgren whi have still all our sympathy. For the future, the property seeks professionals who are interested in collaborating with the management. Anyone interested is invited to contact sextantio.it.
